Learn how Sony Artisan and National Geographic photographer Pete McBride turned the focus of his lenses on wild, remote adventures to the world of wild conservation and the challenges public lands, fresh water and rivers face. After working in over 75 countries documenting stories from the glaciers of Mt. Everest to the savannas of Malawi and the rhythms of Cuba, Pete returned to his home in Colorado to focus on his backyard story. That career change took him on an expected mission of “chasing rivers.” Thousands of river miles later, from India’s sacred Ganges to the Colorado River including a 750-hike through the heart of the Grand Canyon, McBride is committed to showing via photography and video the stories that take you to edge and remind us the value of limited resources, specifically water.
