"Cuba Loves Baseball" – A Photographic Journey With Sony Artisan Ira Block

Join National Geographic Photographer and Sony Artisan Ira Block as he shares his passion for the Cuban people and their love of Baseball. Having made repeated trips to the island since 1997 for National Geographic, Ira realized that Cuba was changing. He knew that baseball, the life blood of the people would also change but before it did, he wanted to preserve the purity of the sport and its important place in their lives. In 2013 Ira secured a grant from a private foundation to document baseball and Cuban culture. Cuba Loves Baseball: A Photographic Journey is the culmination of Ira’s project.

Agenda for the evening:

6:00pm: Check-in begins
Come early to see the new Sony A7III and have an opportunity to learn more about other gear from our Sony Techincal Representative and Foto Care Staff.

6:30pm: Introduction and Presentation from Ira Block on "Cuba Loves Baseball: A Photographic Journey"
Seating for the presentation is limited so please RSVP to secure your spot.

7:30pm: Books for sale and signed by Ira Block will follow the presentation.

8:00pm: Networking with Ira Block, Sony Tech Rep & Foto Care Team

Light refreshments and snacks will be served throughout the evening.
