Grand Opening of "Vanishing Worlds: An Exploration of Fine Art and Environmental Conservation"

Join Paul Nicklen and Sony Artisan Chris Burkard for the opening of their exhibition, Vanishing Worlds: An Exploration of Fine Art and Environmental Conservation. Focused on disappearing rivers and floodplains in Iceland as well as rare Arctic ecosystems, "Vanishing Worlds" aims to encourage a global discussion on how to best protect some of the planet's rarest and most threatened ecosystems.

There will be a book signing with Chris at 3 p.m. and a Q&A with Chris and Paul at 5 p.m.

The collaboration of Paul Nicklen and Chris Burkard unites fine art with a mission of environmental conservation to highlight the beauty of these isolated landscapes, as well as the challenges they face due to climate change and industrial development.
