"Have you ever wondered how someone becomes a National Geographic photographer? When I first started wildlife photography, let's just say, it became clear very quickly that I had a long way to go. Most of those photos will never see the light of day. But years of practice, trial and error, and more error, have given way to photographing for Audubon, Nature Conservancy, Smithsonian, and, yes, National Geographic. This presentation aims to help you bypass some of the "error" and tap into your wild storyteller side. We'll talk about how to go beyond the single image, guiding you through ways to conceptualize ideas and work with scientists, landowners and communities to share wildlife stories."
