Join our extraordinary Sony Alpha community of creators at a special live event in San Francisco.

The first 250 people entering the event will receive a unique piece of branded swag so make sure to arrive on time!

This event will be held at Terra Gallery located in San Francisco’s South of Market (SOMA) district on Rincon Hill. Parking and public transportation/BART is nearby.

The event is free, but you need to register to attend.

Photowalks
All the Alpha Community Event photowalks are open attendance - once you register for the event no additional registration is required. Photowalks may be space-limited and participation will be first-come/first-served.

  • Scenes of Chinatown

    Zabrina Deng & Andy Katz

    Join Sony Artisans Zabrina Deng and Andy Katz on a tour through Chinatown. The first stop is the Chinese Historical society, followed by a walk through Waverly Street and a final stop at Chinatown Restaurant. A shuttle will take you from Terra to the first location and then back from Terra at the end of the walk.

    Learn to see, frame, and compose the same scene with a variety of approaches. As we explore a San Francisco neighborhood, we'll be looking for fresh points of view and also learn how to work with a professional model. The final goal is to have fun, inspire one another to look again and enjoy the process of discovery.

    Terry Warfiled

    If you have ever wanted to create vlog style content, or, maybe you are already vlogging, and have some challenges, this is the walk for you! Led by Terry Warfield, who has been creating vlog style content for years, you will learn vlogging tips and tricks to help you create better vlog content!
