Bob Krist is the consummate traveler. Throughout his career as a National Geographic photographer, Krist has brought unique places and cultures to a global audience. The people and their way of life are translated into a universal, visual language through Krist’s vibrant images. In his latest video series, San Miguel Stories, Krist explores San Miguel de Allende in Mexico and the first of the series is dedicated to the Charreria—the Mexican rodeo. On location, Krist used the Sony α7R II, and RX10 II. Most of the project was shot in 4K as well as 120fps slow-motion shot in HD.
