And as photography and videography lovers, we can't stop watching YouTube videos about photography and filmmaking. We’ve gathered some channels out there with awesome Sony content. Julia Trotti
Julia Trotti is a portrait photographer based in Sydney, Australia. On her YouTube Channel you’ll find photography tutorials, photoshoot behind the scenes, camera/lens reviews and comparisons, Lightroom tutorials, Photoshop tutorials and travel vlogs. She has become well known as a go-to source for photography tips, gear advice and community! Check out her review of the new Sony Alpha 7R V below!
Chris Hau
Chris Hau is a filmmaker, photographer, and creative director from Toronto, Canada. A self-described “creative storyteller crafting innovative and engaging content for the digital landscape” Hau’s work focuses specifically on content for Instagram and YouTube. He shares his thoughts on every aspect of photography and filmmaking, and he adds a lot of humor and fun along the way. We love the “photo battle” in the video below where he and his friend Benjamin Hardman have a battle to compare wide angle lenses versus telephoto lenses. They both shot on the Sony Alpha 7R IV; and Hardman used it with the Sony 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G lens.
Sjoerd Wess
Sjoerd Wess is a filmmaker who is inspired by the art of telling stories visually. On his channel, you’ll find videos on filmmaking, productivity, finance, and business. We love the short cinematic video below. It is beautifully short and makes you feel like you are there. Wess shot this film on the Sony FX30 Check out his account for more filmmaking tips and inspiration.
Brian Lackey
Brian Lackey is a professional photographer whose YouTube account acts as his travel vlog. His channel gives you a behind the scenes look into the day in the life of a travel photographer wherever he’s photographing at the time. It’s great fun to see where in the world van Son is at the moment and how he makes epic imagery using his Sony Alpha 7R IV. Check out what gear he takes with him in the video below.
Bernard Lau
Bernard Lau is a Singaporean videographer currently based in Sydney. His YouTube channel has content about the great outdoors, travel, camera gear, and the projects that he’s working on. Lau is fun to watch as he is deeply passionate about his subjects. Lau shoots primarily shoots on the Sony Alpha 7S III as well as the Sony Alpha 7R III and Sony Alpha 7 III. In the video below Lau breaks down the Sony 85mm f/1.8 and the Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro G lens.
