Few people know the ins and outs of the Sony camera line better than Gary Fong. In a new new video, Gary goes through the key features and benefits of the new α6500 and, based on his hands on experiences with the α6500, α6300 and α6000, he compares the differences and similarities of all three cameras.
Regarding the α6500 in particular, Gary was particularly impressed by three features he says makes it stand out:
Touch screen and touch focus: "Touch focus is really cool for when you're shooting cinema."
Huge internal cache: "The other big innovation is the cache speed... 300 frames instead of just 44."
5-Axis In-Body Image-Stabilization: "The third major difference between the α6500 and α6300 is the five-axis stabilization....The tests that we've done with the stabilization have been really remarkable."
