There's nothing better than coming across a scroll-stopping TikTok, especially those that feature great photography. And as true camera nerds, we’re obviously checking out what gear they’re using. Recently, we’ve seen some spectacular images with the Sony 400mm f/2.8 G Master, the Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 G Master and the Sony 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G. From traditional long lens work to some unusual uses, check out what these creators are up to! Make sure you follow @sonyalpha for more Sony creative content in your feed and the latest from the Alpha Universe.

Julia Trotti - @juliatrotti
Julia Trotti is a fashion and portrait photographer as well as a YouTube artist based in Sydney, Australia. In addition to the content she posts on YouTube, Trotti has grown a following on TikTok. She shares behind the scenes, information about her editing process, and tips on how to shoot portraits with natural light. We love this video where Trotti is using the Sony 400mm f/2.8 G Master in a bit of an unusual way… for a portrait session! She’s a bit far away than typical portrait shoots, but there’s no denying that the images turned out stunning.
Andrew - @andrewoptics
Andrew is a Los Angeles-based photographer and storyteller best known for his urban, landscape, & lifestyle photography. We love the behind the scenes content he shares because he’s not afraid to try new things or think outside the box. Recently he’s been photographing in infrared and sharing that with his followers. We love the TikTok below that shows him using his Sony 400mm f/2.8 G Master lens to capture the details in a landscape. So often, landscapes are wide sweeping scenes, this tighter shot evokes a different emotion.
Lydia Ripplinger - @lydebug
Wildlife photography is often done with a long lens, so this might not be that surprising - but we always love seeing adorable owls! Lydia Ripplinger is a wildlife photographer and self-proclaimed bird-nerd. If you adore seeing close-up, intimate images of wildlife, then she is a must-follow. Ripplinger frequently uses her long Sony glass to capture incredible wildlife encounters.
Ramidibo - @pixtarami
Ramidibo is a video and content creator based in Dubai. He shares a ton of epic imagery on his page, mainly focusing on landscape and urbanscapes. We love this TikTok where he shows the difference of the scene captured with a 16mm lens and his Sony 400mm f/2.8 G Master. This is another fantastic example of the power of honing in on a specific subject, even in landscape photography. The building breaking through the clouds is quite a powerful frame.

Her work focuses on outdoor adventures, nature, and wildlife and she shares these epic adventures with her followers on TikTok.
