Caroline Jensen - @carolinej
Sony Artisan of Imagery Caroline Jensen is a botanical photographer living on the prairie of SW Minnesota. With a specialty in flower photography, she has become a real expert in creating macro images using her Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro G! Not only is it a passion for Jensen, it has also become a sort of stress relief. Sony Artisan Colby Brown is a travel, landscape and wildlife photographer. With his roots in travel photography over time, Brown found himself more and more enthralled with the challenge and diversity of wildlife photography. Brown has been dedicated to it for the past six years. He took this image with the Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro G.
Erin Sullivan - @ErinOutdoors
Alpha Collective member Erin Sullivan is known for making miniature worlds as well as outdoor and travel photography. Sullivan brings in everyday objects into her studio and sets up magical miniature moments. The Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro G lens allows her to create these macro moments with all the detail and sharpness. Jose Madrigal is a photographer focused on shooting pollinators and dragonflies. He is particularly interested in shooting these insects in flight, loving the extra challenge. He hopes that his work inspires the public to care more about these vulnerable creatures. Madrigal’s go-to lens for macro photography is the Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro G paired with his Sony Alpha 7R III. Hannah Mather - @hannahshoneycomb
Alpha Female+ grant winner Hannah Mather is a pollinator photographer and a beekeeper. The grant supported her project known as “The Pollinator Project'' where she created a photo and video project that showed the unique life and behavior of several pollinator species. Mather shot stills, video and high-speed slow motion to give us a glimpse into the overlooked parts of nature that are all around us and help more people to slow down and to see that there is nature worth protecting right in our own backyards. Brick Bait - @brick_bait
Brick Bait has created an Instagram account that he describes as, “combining my love of Lego & photography.” He creates miniature, cinematic scenes with lego characters and photographs them to draw his audience into the images. These images often include powerful use of lighting techniques, such as gels and grids to add to the storytelling. The image below will stand out to any Star Wars fans, as it features a Lego Obi Wan Kenobi! The photo was shot with the Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro G and we love the final result!

Mahesh Sivadas is a wildlife enthusiast and photographer based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. He is an accomplished wildlife photographer making images of all sorts of fauna. We love the image of a Kodaikanal Bush Frog below. The composition frames the frog nicely and the light draws your eye in. And of course, since Sivadas used the Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro G lens, the detail in the frog is unbelievable. Overall, quite a successful image!
Dan Duffin - @danyuld
Star Wars fans, we’ve found another fun account for you to follow! Dan Duffin uses action figures to create mini scenes from his favorite movies, primarily Star Wars that he lights and photographs. He includes outstanding details - down to the light sabers and smoke coming off guns. He also occasionally shares Instagram reels that show some behind the scenes of how he creates these miniature sets. We highly recommend giving him a follow for more fun in your feed.

Helen Karlsen is a South African photographer based in Sandefjord, Norway. She uses the natural world to make soft, fine art images. She’s been honored in the Close Up Photographer of The Year Competition, in the “Intimate Landscapes” category.
