Mike Abramyan - @mikeabramyan

Michael Abramyan is an East Coast-based photographer and video editor specializing in travel and landscape photography while storytelling with video. He has passion for using his Sony Alpha gear to create stunning astro-landscape images that connect our planet to the vast universe. He recently made this image in Utah using his Sony Alpha 7 IV and Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master. He describes the image stating, “In this shot you see the winter Milky Way arching over the beautiful canyon of Zion. We were standing on a 1,000 foot cliff to capture this image!”

Tiffanie Yang - @photosby.tiff

Tiffanie Yang is a landscape and travel photographer based in Seattle, Washington. Her goal is for you to look at these photos and feel the sense of adventure and excitement that she did when capturing them. She also hopes to inspire people to pick up their own camera. We don’t know about you, but we feel pretty inspired by the post below. She describes it best, stating “Nights like this make me feel the most alive. I will always be in awe of the vastness of the night sky and just how many stars you can see when you’re out in the backcountry.”

Autumn Schrock – @autpops

Autumn Schrock is a photographer and designer specializing in outdoor lifestyle, travel, and landscape photography. The Sony Brand Ambassador's photography is known for its bright colors and tranquil landscapes and astroscapes, and she goes on one adventure after another to capture such special scenes. The Sony 20mm f/1.8 G tends to be her pick for astrophotography, though she shot the image below with the Sony Alpha 1 and the Sony 14mm f/1.8 G Master. We absolutely love the vibrant colors and composition of this composite image. Learn more about Autumn’s gear and settings for astrophotography HERE.

Rachel Jones Ross – @rachel_jones_ross

Rachel Jones Ross is a landscape and astroscape photographer and educator based in the Canadian Rockies. The Sony Brand Ambassador says she finds herself most inspired by snow-covered mountains and skies filled with stars. Her imagery shows the depth and vastness of our planet and beyond, helping others build their appreciation for its beauty. She also enjoys sharing her expertise with others through her photography workshops and tutorials. She shot this image on her Sony Alpha 7 III. Between the water and the sky, it gives the feeling of a never ending, slightly out of this world scene.

Sapna Reddy - @sapnareddy

Sapna Reddy is a physician, nature photographer and Sony Brand Ambassador. Her Instagram account is filled with brilliant landscapes from all corners of the Earth. We love this Instagram reel where you can see her planning the shot. It’s great to see behind the scenes of how much work goes into creating a strong, well-composed image of the night sky. In addition, she lit the tree with a drone, to really highlight it in the frame.

Cath Simard - @cathsimard

Cath Simard is a photographer and composite artist. She is known for her surreal, cold, blue, mountain night aesthetic - as can clearly be seen in this image below. This image is a composite created of a 3-shot panorama, a single shot for the person, and a single shot for the sky. Between the icy cave and the star-filled sky, this feels like we have entered a new icy world. This is somewhat of a hallmark of Cath’s work, immersing her viewers in the world she has built. Cath built this world using the Sony Alpha 7R III and the Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 G Master.

Chris Burkard - @chrisburkard

Chris Burkard is an accomplished explorer, photographer, creative director, speaker, author and Sony Brand Ambassador. Traveling to pursue the farthest expanses of Earth, Chris works to capture stories that inspire humans to consider their relationship with nature, while promoting the preservation of wild places everywhere. Layered by outdoor, travel, adventure, surf, and lifestyle subjects, he is known for images that are punctuated by untamed, powerful landscapes. We love this Instagram Reel, showcasing the starry sky he camped under near the Grand Canyon. These timelapses make us feel like we’re right there with him, mesmerized by the sky!

Anthony Castro - @anthonys.adventure

Sony Brand Ambassador Anthony Castro is an outdoor travel photographer. His Instagram is always a great place to feed your wanderlust. We love the image below, shot on the Sony Alpha 1 with the Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 G Master lens. Adding a person in the frame makes for a more interesting story. In the caption, Anthony wonders at the incredible ability of his Sony camera to capture such great detail, and we can't help but agree!

Michal Sawinski - @droneandmore.sawinski

Michal Sawinski is a photographer, drone operator, filmmaker and camera operator from Poland. He is known primarily for his drone work, using it to make epic aerial images and to add an extra element to his traditional photography. The image below is a great example of that, Michal used his Sony Alpha 7 IV to capture this shot and used the drone to create the circle of light, making this image even more interesting. This helps take a classic location such as Stonehenge and elevate it!

Tervel Kustev - @kidnamedtervel

Tervel Kustev is a photographer from Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He shoots nightscapes with his Sony Alpha 7 III. Scrolling through his feed showcases his talent with astrophotography in the world’s most wild scenes. We adore the photograph below, made with the Sony 20mm f/1.8 G. The unusual framing immediately draws the viewer in. The dugout tunnel in the snow makes us feel like we coils crawl through it and end up in the Milky Way. Be sure to follow Tervel’s account for more incredible astro shots!
