Curt Morgan – @curtismorgan

Curt Morgan is a filmmaker and director in the world of action and adventure. He directed the intense short film, “The Way Forward,” shot with the new Sony α7S III, and he also used the new low light master to get these dreamy Milky Way shots below. Give him a follow for more of the most colorful celestial images on Instagram in your feed.

Jess Santos – @missjessbess

Jess is a member of the Alpha Imaging Collective, and a wanderer, adventurer and stargazer as she describes herself in her Instagram bio. The photos posted to her account declare those descriptors to be accurate, her work bursting with color and adventure. Give her a follow to see one breathtaking scene after another. She took this Milky Way composite shot below using her Sony α7R III with the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master lens, and you can learn more about her techniques shooting and compositing Milky Way landscapes here.

Rachel Jones Ross – @rachel_jones_ross

Rachel is another member of the Alpha Collective, and she calls the Canadian Rockies home. Renan Ozturk – @renan_ozturk

Sony Artisan Renan Ozturk’s work tells interesting stories about people with a strong sense of place in the landscapes and cultures – the definition of modern documentary style. He happened to be one of the lucky few to test out the new Sony α7S III in advance of its introduction. He along with Sony Artisan Taylor Rees pushed the new camera to its low light limits, and the resulting short film they created does not disappoint. Stan Moniz – @stanmoniz

Stan is a photographer/filmmaker and another member of the Alpha Collective. He’s a real go-getter when it comes to doing the research and getting out to capture those epic shots, like these of bioluminescent waves and the Milky Way he captured earlier in the year. His Instagram account has one exciting photo after another. Matt Leccadito – @delightful_happening

Matt is a full-time electrical engineer based in Hawaii, but photography has come to be his outlet during the pandemic. He’s captured plenty of the beauty of the island in photographs, many of them while out adventuring on his Onewheel.
