TikTok is the “hot” social media platform. But what does that mean for photographers? Making the jump to a new platform can be daunting - but we're showcasing a group of photographers who are doing some cool things on the app. Check out these five photographers on TikTok and see how they share their work in this brave new (social) world. Clayton Cassidy - @themanfluencer

We’re all looking to take better photos and videos of our pets, right?! Clayton Cassidy took advantage of some beautiful morning light and his Sony Alpha 1 to get some beautiful video clips of his dog. We love the golden light and creamy footage… and of course the adorable child and dog! 

Jed Dobré – @jeddobre

Jed Dobré is a content creator and filmmaker who posts tutorials on his TikTok and YouTube channel. We love the tutorial below where he walks through his light and camera setup for a splashing drink image. He used the Sony Alpha 7 IV, Sony 50mm f/1.2 G Master and Sony HVL-F60RM2 Wireless Radio Flash. He really breaks down the basics of photographing water droplets in motion with flash. Adam King – @adamkingphoto

Adam King is a surf photographer whose TikTok page is dedicated to tutorials, tips, BTS and gear reviews. Sometimes, there is nothing more satisfying than viewing clips of stunning video footage. This TikTok is just that, a series of 4K 120 clips with a gorgeous pink sky. King shot the footage on the Sony Alpha 7S III. 

Dani Diamond – @DaniDiamond

Dani Diamond is a New York City based fashion photographer. Shooting on the Sony Alpha 1, Diamond’s TikTok account shows his work and behind the scenes videos. It is great fun to see how his creative vision transforms a place. His account is also wonderful for getting posing ideas when working with models. Be sure to check him out and give him a follow. 

Andrew Wille – @andrewoptics

Andrew Wille is a Los Angeles based photographer and storyteller best known for his urban, landscape, and lifestyle photography. He has grown a large following on TikTok by posting content about his photography work. His videos that show before and after editing are particularly popular. We love the video below as it shows how important the photographer is to making a strong image!
