When I’m traveling to a once-in-a-lifetime location or adventure I need to know that no matter what expected or unexpected situation happens, I will have the ability to capture it in the best way possible. Whether I’m underwater, swimming alongside a humpback whale, or at the peak of a mountain shooting the sunset as the colors glow through layers of clouds. My cameras are tools that will help me capture the essence of my adventure with breathtaking clarity and artistry. My Sony Alpha 1 and Sony Alpha 7R III are not just in my camera bag but an essential part of my journey.
Sony Alpha 1: Recently I have begun focusing on bigger stories with videography, and the Sony Alpha 1 was my first choice in bringing my ideas to life. The full-frame 50.1-megapixel sensor captures every detail with stunning clarity, from the shimmering colors of a tropical sunset to the intricate pattern on the back of a tiger shark.
And when it comes to speed, the Sony Alpha 1 is lightning-fast, with 30 frames per second burst rate that ensures you'll never miss a crucial moment. The advanced video capabilities lets me shoot stunning 4K footage at up to 120 frames per second, which gives the highest quality and smoothness from filming underwater, to creating brilliant concepts. And with its intuitive controls and customizable interface, the Sony Alpha 1 puts all of this power at my fingertips, allowing me to focus on my art and creativity rather than fumbling with technical details.

Sony Alpha 7R III: This has been my go-to camera for the last few years. It has allowed me to take my underwater photography to the next level with its 42.4-megapixel sensor that captures images with excellent color accuracy, dynamic range, and low noise. The camera also has a robust build quality which makes it suitable for harsh conditions like in my underwater housing or above the surface on the boat.

Lenses
Sony 90mm f/2.8 Macro G: When it comes to capturing intricate details and extreme close-ups, the macro lens is unparalleled. Personally, I find myself reaching for it time and again when shooting my travel content and exploring new conceptual ideas to maximize compression in the image.

Sony 50mm f/1.8: My 50mm lens has become an indispensable tool when it comes to capturing portraits. It allows me to capture stunning images with clarity and detail that truly bring out the unique features and details of my subjects. It's a lens that I have come to rely on for its sharpness, versatility and ability to produce beautiful portraits with a professional and artistic touch.

Sony 16-35mm f/4: One of the key tools in my underwater photography kit is the 16-35mm lens. This lens allows me to quickly and easily adjust the focal length, enabling me to switch between capturing close-up shots of small subjects like fish or coral, and wider shots that showcase the entire underwater scene or capturing a curious whale.
