Alberta-based astro and landscape photographer Chandresh “CK” Kedhambadi explores the ice and glacier caves in the region, and the Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master is his go-to for the adventure. “The Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master is an ideal choice for me in terms of weight and performance,” he says. “It offers best in class corner-to-corner sharpness. I love having the flexibility of a fast f/1.4 for those situations where the caves are totally dark. Also the lens has no noticeable loss of performance shooting wide open at f/1.4. I find that the 24mm is a great focal length to have, where you are able to capture the vastness of the cave and not have the details muted.” Learn more in Photo Gear, Safety Gear & More…See How This Photographer Prepares For A Glacier & Ice Cave Exploration.

Einar Jenssen lives in Longyearbyen, the world's northernmost permanent settlement, located at the 78th parallel on the archipelago of Svalbard. His location gives him lucky access to the northern lights, and the Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master is one of his favorite lenses to capture them. “For this shot I used my work horse, the Sony Alpha 7R III and the Sony 24mm f/1.4 GM, an excellent combination for the night skies,” he says. “The camera's low light performance is outstanding and picks up details not seen by the human eye.
